Falsettos

Initially conceived as the lat two parts of a trilogy of one act plays, Falsettos by William Finn and James Lapine follows Marvin and his complicated family and friends as they learn what it means to truly grow up and face real world problems. With the first Act set in 1970 and the second in 1981, the play shows the innocence of the period right before the tragedy of the AIDS epidemic. Through a series of fast-moving episodes, the characters learn that love is complicated and rarely takes the path you expect.
